What to Have Ready When You Call
It helps to know roughly how tall the tree is compared to your house, what is underneath and around it, whether it is alive or dead, and whether anything is leaning or already down. A photo from far enough back to show the whole tree tells us more than a close-up of the trunk. If it is an emergency, skip all of that and just call. We will work it out on the phone.
Before You Call
Are estimates free?
Yes. Estimates are free and there is no obligation to book. You get the price before any work starts, and it should be in writing.
Can you come out the same day?
Emergencies, meaning a tree on a structure, blocking your only access, or hung up and unstable, are prioritized and often handled same day. Standard removals and trimming are usually scheduled within a few days depending on weather and ground conditions.
How much does tree removal cost in Nacogdoches?
Cost is driven by height, trunk diameter, species, and access. A mature pine in an open front yard where a truck can reach it is a straightforward job. The same tree in a fenced backyard over a septic field, with structures on both sides, is a rigging job that takes hours longer and costs more. That is why phone quotes without seeing the tree are placeholders. What should not vary is getting the price in writing before work begins.
Will my homeowners insurance cover a fallen tree?
It depends on what the tree hit. Most policies cover removal when a tree damages a covered structure such as your house, garage, or fence, and many do not cover removal when a tree simply falls in the yard and hits nothing. Either way, photograph the tree where it fell before anyone cuts it. We document storm damage before we start, at no charge, because adjusters need to see it as it landed.
